Planning to stream on Kick? The first thing you’ll need is your stream key, which links your streaming software to your Kick account. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find your stream key and set it up in OBS Studio.
Important: Keep your stream key secure. Do not share it with anyone you don’t trust. If your stream key gets leaked, you can reset it by clicking the "Reset" button in the Stream Key section.
To find your stream key on Kick, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Kick account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- In the left-hand sidebar, click on Settings.
- Under the Stream Key section, you'll see your unique stream key.
- Click the Copy button next to the stream key to save it to your clipboard.
Once you have your Kick stream key, here’s how to add it to OBS:
- Open OBS.
- In the lower-right corner, click Settings to open the settings window.
- In the left sidebar, click on Stream.
- In the Service dropdown menu, select Twitch.
- Paste your Twitch stream key into the Stream Key field.
- Click OK to save your settings. Now OBS is linked to your Twitch channel!
You’re all set! When you’re ready, just click Start Streaming in OBS, and you’ll go live on Kick.
